Can I join classes at any time?
Our curriculum is taught progressively with each class expanding and refining the skills taught in the previous class. In order to benefit fully from our classes, it is important to start at the beginning of each session.
-
What happens if I miss a class?
If you are not able to make a class, we ask that you provide us with 48 hours’ notice. We will do our best to schedule you for a make-up class. Make-up classes are based on availability and are not guaranteed.
-
How do I know what level to join?
Those with prior dance experience are welcome to call or e-mail us and we will be happy to arrange for a free assessment.
-
Do I need a partner?
Some students do sign up as a couple and prefer not to rotate and only dance with each other. This is fine as well. Just let us know before the class that you do not wish to be a part of partner rotation.
-
What is student/instructor ratio?
In order to provide quality instruction and give each students individual attention, we keep our classes small. Our classes only have 8 to 12 students with the equal number of leads and follows.
-
What shoes/clothes should I wear for the class?
Please dress comfortably in the clothes that allow you to move freely. We suggest dressing lightly as you will get a good workout in the class.
Beginner level students do not need to have special dance shoes. No running shoes please as their soles will not allow you to execute turn and spins properly. Please wear shoes with slippery soles such as leather or similar to leather man-made material.
Once you decide to buy dance shoes, we will be happy to advise you on styles and fit that that will benefit you the most.
- Can classes be held at my home/office?
We are happy to provide private/semi-private and group lessons at your location. Please call or e-mail for details.
